New York Times + Year In Ideas 2008

While we at Commotion continue to procrastinate on various year-end projects, posts and lists (they’re coming we swear), we’ve spent much of the time searching for inspiration from publications that actually, you know, adhere to deadlines and other timely nonsense. Good for them, I guess, if that’s your thing.

One bright spot we found among our Internet searches is the interactive Year In Ideas feature from The New York Times.  Covering everything from Brandon Jennings’ European Vacation to airbags to protect elderly bones, the Year In Ideas provides a look at the non-depressing stories that made 2008 an extraordiary year and provides the kind of reassurance that only wonder and possibility can.

I would cut and paste that into your browser. Hope that works for you.
