Frank Gehry’s Brooklyn

The New York Times has a great breakdown, forgive the pun, of how Frank Gehry’s Atlantic Yards project has lost its once promising footing. Jay-Z’s arena for the soon-to-be Brooklyn Nets is about all that remains for the development. Critics are skeptical if this is enough to revitalize Brooklyn, leery of the fact that the residential aspects of the project are getting pushed aside. Very interesting read.
